CONTE TO QUIT CHELSEA?

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is growing frustrated with the club's lack of transfer business and could be prepared to leave, according to SkySport Italia.

Conte, who departed Juventus in similar circumstances, wants specific players to make a run at the Champions League but feels the west Londoners are not backing him in the market.

Former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel has been mentioned as a potential replacement.

REAL LEAD PSG FOR DONNARUMMA

Real Madrid are leading the race to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma from AC Milan, but face competition from Paris Saint-Germain, according to Sky Sport Italia.

Milan confirmed on Thursday that the goalkeeper will not sign a new contract, with a year to go on his current one. PSG are said to have already made an offer for the 18-year-old, but Madrid are the favourites, who are already acting on their interest. Reports in Spain, meanwhile, have said Madrid could convince him to stay at Milan for one more year and snap him up next summer.

MADRID WANT £78M FOR MORATA

Real Madrid have slapped a £78 miilion price tag on Manchester United target Alvaro Morata, according to The Independent.

United had hoped to get a deal done for the striker for a fee of around £60m, but Madrid president Florentino Perez has no desire to sell and wants to get the best price possible.

JUVE REJECT ARSENAL CUADRADO BID

Arsenal have had a £17 million bid for Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado rejected by the Serie A champions, according to The Sun.

Arsene Wenger is preparing for life without Alexis Sanchez and sees Colombia international Cuadrado as a man who could help fill the void.

Juve only signed the former Chelsea man on a permanent basis this summer, and would want closer to £30m before they think of selling.

Manchester United have not made an official offer for Andrea Belotti and are having doubts about the Torino striker’s €100 million (£88m) buy-out clause, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Belotti has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford, but United’s priority is to finalise a deal for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

PELLEGRINI IN PALACE TALKS

Crystal Palace have held talks with Manuel Pellegrini to succeed Sam Allardyce as manager, Sky Sports reveal.

Ex-England national team boss Allardyce left after keeping the Selhurst Park side in the Premier League and the club have now turned to the 63-year-old former Manchester City boss to guide them into the future.

Hector Bellerin hopes Barcelona will continue to try to sign him from Arsenal after talks with president Josep Maria Bartomeu, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Catalan side have been heavily linked with the right-back, but his long-term commitment and importance to the Gunners complicates a deal.

HART CONSIDERS TORINO STAY

Joe Hart is considering staying at Torino, according to Tuttosport, as he has not been convinced by other options.

PALACE IN FOR MAN CITY STRIKER

Crystal Palace will challenge West Ham to the signing of Kelechi Iheanacho from Manchester City, The Mirror reports.

LYON WANT GIROUD-LACAZETTE SWAP

Lyon have begun talks with Arsenal over an exchange between Olivier Giroud and Alexandre Lacazette, Le10 Sport say.

Lacazette was set to join Atletico Madrid, but their transfer ban has ended the possibility, and Arsenal are hopeful of capitalising on it and snapping up their long-term target.

Giroud is being pursued by West Ham, but a move back to France may be more alluring as Lyon are hoping to add him to part of the deal.

ARSENAL KEEN ON SMALLING

Arsenal are among those keeping a close eye on Chris Smalling's situation at Manchester United, reports The Sun.

With the Red Devils having put a deal in place for Victor Lindelof, they are expected to freshen up their defensive ranks - with West Ham also keen on England international Smalling.
